I recently thought about getting a passive income and thought of an affiliate marketing program. I thought of Facebook first since I already have too many friends and even followers there. Besides, my pictures there receive many likes and comments. Recently, I came across this site — https://www.yesstyle.com/en/influencers.html. I cannot say that I’m too much into beauty and style. Still, I think I can find some niche.
I know that most of you would suggest trying better, most popular, and suitable platforms for that, such as YouTube, TikTok, and Instagram. But, I don’t have accounts there with too many followers. There are just my friends and family. So, I don’t think that I should waste my time trying to promote those channels. Besides, I dunno if the whole idea will work out. So, if any of you tried to do affiliate marketing on Facebook, please share with me some tips.
So far, I have found the following tips about affiliate marketing on Facebook. Besides, it seems slightly different from suggestions regarding YouTube and Instagram that I found.
Engage your audience for promotion: If affiliate marketers want their Facebook business to work wonders, they need to gain audience trust to create meaningful connections with users as a group. — I don’t think I will have any issues with the audience due to many comments and likes.
The 80/20 Rule: 80% of posts shared by brands should be entertaining, informative, and contain content that can be shared. While 20% of posts should promote the brand. — That’s actually something new, and I had no idea that this rule could be applied here too.
Gallery: Image ads have more traffic than Facebook text ads. Most users browsing Facebook are more likely to wait and see attractive image ads rather than text ads. — Never had problems with that either. I have always been a photography enthusiast.
As you can see, I didn’t find too many tips. That’s why I would be thrilled if someone shared their story and experience.
